My name is Sarah Williams and I am a third year double major in business management and theater arts. Today I'm going to be showing you around our bookstore here on campus and also talking about buying textbooks for your classes and other resources at the bookstore offers. It is the university's official on campus bookstore downstairs we have a bunch of clothing and other items for sale. Then upstairs is where all of the text books are stored. Also upstairs there is a huge school supply section with everything you may need for classes in regards to purchasing textbooks. We always encourage all students to purchase of course materials online through easy books which allows you to purchase your textbooks before even arriving to campus. This is always really a point of discussion among students. Should I buy my books before class or wait until the teacher says if it's required, should I buy them through the bookstore somewhere else? And this is where easy books comes in through this site. The bookstore actually takes your class schedule and then communicates with the professors of those courses to see if they are requiring any books. The bookstore will provide you with a book list for all of your classes. Easy books will also show you many options on where you can buy the books, including amazon and other online sellers. This is really nice because it allows you to compare prices from multiple sellers in one place and decide where you want to buy from as far as waiting to buy your books in case your teachers actually don't require them. Even if you do buy a book through easy books and then go to class and find out that you actually don't need it or don't want it. You are able to return it during the first few weeks of the semester. So there really is no harm in ordering them ahead of time just to be prepared. I have used easy books every semester that I've been here and have never had any issues like I mentioned with easy books. The bookstore does offer price comparison tools if you're shopping online and they do also offer a price match plus program. If you're shopping in store, simply put the sc sc bookstore really is the most cost effective source for all of your course materials. The bookstore also offers great educational pricing on computers and tablets through its as technology department as well as financing options with no money needed up front. I actually purchased an ipad Pro through them last year and it was through a back to school bundle deal thing that they had going on. Just in general, the bookstore is always having really great deals on merchandise and tech items for students. Of course, they do also offer the largest selection of officially licensed SAN Diego State University merchandise.
