A Day in the Life on RIT Hockey's Corner Crew
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Hi, my name is Nikki and I'm a third year student in the school of individualized study here at RIT. I am very excited about today's video because it is all about Corner Crew. If you don't know, RIT has two Division One hockey teams, a men's team and a women's team. And hockey is a very big deal here. Corner Crew is our RIT hockey student section, although anyone is welcome to join, not students. We're the ones you'll see at every single home game underneath this gigantic banner, doing chants to the opposing team and showing our Tiger Pride in any way we can. I could go on and on about how much I love RIT hockey and Corner Crew, and about the incredible sense of community that has given me throughout my college career. But instead I'm going to show you. This video is a day in life in Corner Crew. I'm taking you along on my absolute favorite type of game day, double game day, women's hockey in the afternoon, men's hockey in the evening, and I'll be there in corner crew for all of it, cheering on our Tigers. Alright, less talk more hockey. Let's head to the Gene Polisseni center.Hey, Corner Crew! What? Give me a T! T! Give me an I! I! Give me a G! G! Give me an E! E!Give me an R! R! Give me an S! S! What's it spell? Tigers!I can't hear you! Tigers! I can't hear you! Tigers! RIT! RIT! RIT! RIT!Hockey! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! Scored by number 4: Jessie Burks. Burks! Assisted by number 24: Jamie Nolan. Nolan! And number 17: Amy Dobson. Dobson! The Tigers play goal: 5:15. 5:15! 1! We want 3! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! It's all your fault! G! E! R! RIT! RIT! RIT! RIT! RIT! So that is the corner crew, double game day experience. We lost both games today, but it's ok. We're here cheering on Tigers no matter what, win or lose, rain or shine. I want to end by saying anyone is more than welcome to join corner crew. We're not an official RIT organization, just a dedicated group of fans that love hockey, whether you're a student, an alum, an outsider, whether you play hockey all your life or whether you've never watched a game before. All are welcome. Anyway, I had a ton of fun filming this one. I hope you enjoyed it. Thank you for watching and Go Tigers.
