Hi, my name is Nashari and I'm a junior nursing major here at Ramapo College and I also have a minor in spanish language studies. I chose Ramapo because it had a very high NCLEX passing rate. The campus was very friendly and welcoming when I visited and it was very economically friendly as well. The curriculum here for nurses is pretty rigorous. There's a very high expectation for nursing students but it's 100% manageable if you know how to organize yourself and utilize your resources. Your professors are always here for you during office hours and to help you pass and succeed in one day become a nurse. So it's definitely possible. The classes are mostly lecture style except there's integrative clinical strategies which is your lab and of course there's clinicals at hospitals all across Northern New Jersey, which is absolutely amazing. And one of the classes I've loved taking here is pathophysiology and pharmacology, even though it's a very difficult subject, the professors make it super easy to learn. And I absolutely love that.
