What is the party scene like at Michigan State University? Hi, everyone. What is the party scene like at Michigan State University? I like, wrote Donald. The information, The juicy details? No, with the party scene, there's frat parties, house parties, Dougherty's, which are like parties during the day. If it's warm and then tailgates, and then when you're 21 you're just going to go to the bars. Yeah, frat parties, self explanatory for charities, have parties. House party is usually like you'll have like an upperclassman friend who's like living in a house off campus, and they'll just like throw parties start ese are cool because they're usually like at, like, one or two or three PM like sometime in the middle of the day. Darty is actually my favorite type of parties because I just like being outdoors, and I like being like in the sun. I just think it's so much more fun if it's like nice weather and it's outdoors and then tailgates are honestly amazing I Before starting college, I had never gone to any kind of tailgate. I just never grew up with that in my life, and it was a really interesting concept to me. So for those who do not know, tailgates are basically like a party before the football game, and it's usually outdoors. Uh, what happens is there really early like some tail gets start at like 7 a.m. which makes sense because usually games are like at noon or around noon, sometimes earlier, sometimes later and, um basically, you just like you go to you go to classes for a week where you have to wake up early and then you voluntarily wake up early for a tailgate so that you could, like, get ready and like, look you and you're like, tailgate close. Just, you know, you got you have bows, you got fake face tattoo, MSU leggings, i'ma, sue glasses, body glitter green and white body glitter. It's just you go all out for tailgates Tailgates A really fine that they're just really, really early. Because after the game, you could just take a nap and then you couldn't rally and go out again if you want, So I don't really go out that much anymore. I'm 21 now, and if I go out, it will be to the bars or tailgates. Parties are definitely fun, and they're great ways to meet people, But I don't want you guys to get carried away with the party scene at Michigan State. I like to say is study hard and then you can reward yourself with a party. I think a lot of people get carried away with parties their freshman year, and they do really badly with their grades. Some people get put on academic probation and I just don't want I don't want that to happen to any of my viewers watching that. So I just really wanted to make sure I added this part into the video. I feel like I covered a lot with the party scene. How do you make friends actually got a d? M for this question, and I responded to the D. M and I just really like my response. So I'm just going to read it off to like what I responded to this person when it comes to making friends say hi to people first. It just matters that you say something and you put yourself out there and you make a new friend. Okay, so my friend Zacchia and I were just like walking around acres. I remember, like telling her I was like, You know what? Like I want to, like, make a new friend like the next person that walks by. She was like, Really? And I was like, Yeah, I'm going to do it So I did. Of course he was really confused and didn't know what was going on. We actually ended up like talking and becoming friends. Back then I was actually in a sorority and he ended up being my first date party Date sewn. You never know, like even saying something as weird as like we've been expecting. You could make you a new friend, John, that I definitely recommend joining clubs and joining different groups on campus. The last question is, what is orientation like? And this is another one of those questions where someone sent me a D M. And I responded directly to them. Orientation is basically a bunch of different meetings where people will give speeches, give tours and you'll pick your schedule. You'll be split into groups of what major you picked, and you'll have your own orientation schedule of where to go. There's like games, too, so people can get to know each other. While you're there, you'll also probably have a roommate during orientation. Thio, go to those meetings with you so that you can already have a new friend. If you've already had your orientation comment below what tips you'd like to give your other fellow students that maybe haven't gone through orientation yet. If you have any more questions that are more like personal that you don't just want a comment down below.
