The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Today's video has been so heavily requested everyone wants to know about North neighborhood. So I'm gonna be talking about the pros and cons of I just wanna apologize in advance for my voice. So I'm just gonna push through and make this video. If you would like to see more college videos, please give this video thumbs up and subscribe Balloon. You've got a lot to choose from, so that's good. North neighborhood number one pro I would say these are the best looking door was on campus. They're the oldest storms, so they have the classically Gothic Ivy League architecture and they look so pretty Honestly, these dorms remind me of hog wards and Harry Potter. A second probe thes storms are so close to fraternities and sororities. So if you're thinking about doing Greek life freshman year, definitely pick North Neighborhood because you're going to be spending a lot of time at your fraternity or sorority house during your freshman year, and it's gonna be so much, it's easier to walk there. Uber pro Number three North Neighborhood has three cafeterias landed hall snipe by and the union honestly Landed and Sniper Fire one of my favorite cafeteria's on campus, along with Brody Cafeteria, as you guys all know, and the union is great because it's open late night, which means it's open past the normal cafeteria hours. Pro Number four are the living learning communities in North Neighborhood. If you're not aware of living, learning community is basically where students who are majoring and similar subjects or going down similar career paths all live in the same building or on the same floor, and I recommend it because you get really close to people really quickly. 1st 1 is ARCA, which stands for the Residential College of Arts and Humanities. If you're majoring in arts and humanities, this is the place for You is located on the second floor of Snyder Hall and on the second floor of Phillips Hall, and the second living Learning Community is music. Basically, there's freshmen housing throughout Uniquely Land and Gill, Kris Male and Campbell Hall. If you're majoring in something that has to do with music, should definitely consider living in one of these halls because you'll be surrounded with a lot of like minded students. I have a friend who lived in Campbell Hall freshman year, and he told me that basically all of the like presidents on his floor would get together in his dorm room and everyone would bring a different instrument and then, like he would be rapping. Then someone be playing the guitar and someone playing the piano and, like, there would be someone with a saxophone and they would literally just have these, like musical productions in his dorm room. So if that's like something that you would doing college, just like have live musical productions in your dorm room every night, definitely live in one of the music freshmen housing. Now we're gonna talk about the cons for the Chris Con. Now you guys know I actually prefer communities battle bathrooms because basically, they're always cleaned by MSU staff, and you don't have to worry about, like waiting. Use the shower because there's just an unlimited amount for you to use. For some reason, a lot of people just don't like you style bathroom. The second calm is that, um, Mary Mae Oh, Hall is haunted, obviously, like this is kind of like a joke, but it's kind of not because I've had a lot of friends that have lived there, and they have said that they've had, like, years, spooky experiences. I did some research, and it said that like in the first floor, there's a portrait of Mary Mae. Oh, basically like I guess her eyes follow people around the room they walk around. I also read that there's a piano in Mary Meo hauled up plays by itself, and another creepy thing in Mary Mae Oh Hall is that the fourth floor is blocked, Bob and no one's really sure why, But like I guess like some like creepy rituals place there from my research. A lot of people say it's haunted if you're into that stuff. If you like, you know, getting spooky, hanging out with the ghosts. Don't think because you're college is hard enough without, like, having like ghosts following you around and like living in a haunted dorm room. The pros and cons of North Neighborhood This neighborhood is probably one of my favorites. I never got a chance to live here freshman year, so I hope one of you guys do, because it's truly like a beautiful. Before I go, I wanted to tell you guys about this new app I've been using. Basically, it's this app where you can get points for taking uber rides. I said uber rides, and with those points you can get money and the money is just deposited straight into your bank account. Then I got $10 deposited into my bank account, which I think is so nice, especially because uber's can get really expensive. If you download the app and use this code, you get $5 off your first and second ride. Basically, everyone that downloads it gets their own code where they can, like, tell their friends. I figured, Why not let the viewers know so that you guys could get $5 off your uber rides or just save the code for when you get to Michigan State? Because freshman can have cars and you'll be you bring everywhere and always. I hope that I'm an amazing day Come below other videos you'd like to see And don't forget to like and subscribe.
