Hey, guys, my name is Joe, and I do cardiology research here, specifically focusing on applications of machine learning to cardiology outcomes. Our research focuses on using techniques derived from machine learning and artificial intelligence, tow. Learn new things about cardiovascular outcomes and cardiovascular conditions from common data like the 12 VDC G. So one of the big questions is can be leveraged. The millions of D C. GS that we've gathered in our electronic medical records over the past many years toe learn new things about patients from their CCGs. And so what we found is that by applying these artificial intelligence techniques, the computer can identify patterns that were previously unrecognizable to the human eye and really learn with high accuracy new things about cardiovascular conditions from data as common as me, K g and all this research has been funded through an N I. H R. 38 grant. This grant is really distributed to just a few institutions. MGH included on the department was just incredibly supportive of us going out and getting this grant, and it just the work that I do just wouldn't have been possible without that kind of funding support. Finally, just welcome to MGH. Great luck with your interviews.
