There's so many awesome people in primary care here At MGH, for example, there's Alec Array, who has a huge role in shaping our ambulatory experience. She was one of my interviewers last year, and I remember she was just so friendly and I felt like I could be my bubbly self around her, and that was awesome. Then there's Diane and Rachel, without whom this program could not work and I would try and tell you what they do, but I would probably get it wrong. Rachel has her cubicle in the Department of Medicine, and it's right before the coffee station. I always hope that I can see her head right above the cubicle because I love chatting with her. I basically don't even need coffee after, because she's just that uplifting. Then we have our primary care chiefs, and it's so great that there's always a chief dedicated to primary care. This year we have Rashmi and actually met with both of them when I was interviewing here, MGH and it's so great to meet with someone who just finished residency and wants to have a career in primary care toe help guide us with all of our questions in residency and beyond. I just met with Ayesha the other day just to catch up. So as you can see, there are many reasons why I love the primary care program here at MGH, and I was actually choosing between the primary care programs and categorical programs on MGH was totally fine with me applying to both. I never felt pressure that I had to follow one particular path and they very much support me wanting to pursue palliative care. If I had to do the process all over again, I would absolutely choose the primary care program here at MGH..
