My name is Michelle Diab, and I wanted the junior residents in the primary care track and internal medicine here it engage in this video. I'm going to tell you a little bit about myself that you could get to know me on some of the reasons why I wanted to come to MGH for residency. I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, and I grew up in the West End of Boston, which is also where mg just located and you can see in our background right over here. After graduating high school, I moved to New York, where I went to Colombia for college and majored in anthropology, and at first I was in 100% sure that I wanted to pursue medicine. One summer I did a public health internship at Bellevue Hospital, and I was randomly following around the palliative appeared, and after spending the whole day with them, I just fell in love with fields. Ever since then I've just been exploring palliative care, and I know for sure that it will be a huge part of my career.
