Jacquelyn - Visit Dinners! (2020-2021)
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
It's Jacqueline, one of the junior medicine residents here. MGH. Instead, I wanted to talk to you guys about visit dinners, which is a really fun way that we celebrate the end of our rotations here at MGH. So on our rotations, the visits are the attendings who are on service for the to four week rotation. So what we do at the end of the rotation is basically the attendings or the visits take us out to dinner to sort of celebrate the end of the rotation. Pre Covad, this was usually at a restaurant or, you know, at Attendings House. We've had to get creative, and people have done a really great job coming up with a lot of different ways to still have visit dinners in a socially distant fashion, eh? So you can see here from the pictures we've got. Everyone's wearing masks, usually these dinners or being outdoors, which has been really fun. Other people have even gone to like an island out in the harbor. People have done the backyards of the attendings houses. So it's a really nice way to sort of endure rotation, you know, outside of the hospital, outside, the pressures of seeing patients and things just to sort of get together and regroup and go over the fun times that have happened during the past two weeks. It's a really nice way to end the rotations.
