Hey, everyone, I'm Jacqueline, one of the junior residents. Today I want to talk to you guys about the different conferences we have throughout the week. Here at MGH. During the first few months a year, we have internal report a couple mornings, ah week, which are really focused on bread and butter medicine and a lot of the things that interns might come across overnight on the Bigelow. Then we have rez report a few times a week, which is usually with a fellow, involves an interesting case presentation and trying to figure out the work up and diagnosis and then our most regular conferences. We have a huge variety of new conference topics that could range from specialty speakers to residents in the medical education group giving shock talks. By far there's one new conference that's way more popular than the rest. One of the engage jars, my favorite new conference are the CPCS. Um, just cause you get to see some really expert thought process on differentials and, um e entering my favorite type of doing conference really a CPC. That's why I'm here today and this is a very conference, but hi, everyone. I'm idea, peoples, in my favorite new conferences, the CPC Definitely one of the best. Favorite type of new conferences would be the CPI. See, you get to see Expert Commission's work through some interesting cases. Hi, I'm Andrew, one of the juniors here at MGH. My favorite type of noon conference is a CPC. So what's the CPC? Ah, CPC is a clinical pathological conference which you might recognize this the case records of the Massachusetts General Hospital from the New England Journal of Medicine. Before publishing these cases that presented at our new conferences with one very specific diagnostic test removed, discuss and then reviews, the case comes up with the diagnosis and the diagnostic test they want to use to prove their diagnosis. They're super interesting and they also stressed me out a little because I'm always worried that they're going to get it wrong. There are always the conferences that people really look forward to, and hopefully we'll get to see one on your interview. J. There's one other thing I should mention about new conference. I'm an intern, and my favorite noon conference is getting lunch every day. We have tons of great food options in a lot of variety. My personal favorite is Good Sandwich Day, which implies there's a bad sandwich day. Other days include variables, Jamaican Indian, Greek Salad Day and Thai food among a bunch of other options on Most importantly, there's always Diet Coke.
