Another thing that a lot of our residents love is the CPCS, or clinical pathologic conferences. So these air held typically once a month and involved inviting a discussing to discuss an interesting clinical case and the whole goal of CPC. Eyes Thio learn from that clinician and their thought process on how to navigate a challenging clinical case. So the case is presented to the discussion, and the discussion will think out loud on what are salient features that would help them decide what diagnostic test toe order or to pursue on at the end of the case, the discuss it well, name their top diagnosis and the test that they think would provide the highest yield on. Then we get to see whether or not they got it right. What's amazing is that more often than not, they dio on. That's when you realize you're really surrounded by such incredible expertise here, and it's a lot of fun. The cases end up getting published in the New England Journal of Medicine, and so you can read them afterwards.
