So I think I started looking at this or doing something else, like a master's program probably back in 2018. It's been quite a lot of time because it's quite a big commitment to to to study further, especially for a lot of us are now working In our late 20s, early 30s. So a lot of research in different schools and that probably took me call it 6 to 12 months before I landed on. I mean basically started with sort of wanted to go masters of finance, it was just a matter of where and what you want to specialize in. So I mainly went and went through all the websites of the big schools and said, you know which one looks or appeals to me the most. Like I said, it's quite difficult for me to have a commitment. It can't be something that should not convinced is right for you. Then I guess I had some interviews with some of the recruiters. I think my first contact with N. C. It was actually my we had a quick call to talk through it. I think that's experienced then gave me the comfort that I was going the right food because it is like I keep saying it's a big decision. So I felt that I needed to do my homework rather than do it on a woman. Um I think interestingly for me I've been thinking about taking an N. B. A. So it was my first option and I started thinking about it a couple of years ago, a few years into my my job I decided that I wanted to do and be. So from then on I started speaking to people I went to like career uh korean five graduate program fares. So I talked to people from various schools and one school that I'm really interested in is sincere. So my option naturally came down to apply for the NBA and then when it comes to choosing the Mp. Um So this this N. B. A. Decision program took me a few years of research and and everything, but when it came to even find I think I made my decision rather quickly. So I think like everyone here um I attended a networking session sometime around november or december. Um And then the things that actually attracted me to this program is that it's a short time frame. Um It is part time and there is scholarship available for single parents like myself. So I think that was quite a strong attractive factor for me. I always wanted to go to business school, just wasn't sure about when when the right time was the idea was always to go to a top ranked university, but naturally I wanted to carry on working as well. So I was looking for more around uh part time part time program. I think for me in c I just checked all the boxes, I looked at the curriculum, it was exactly what I had in mind and sort of what I was seeking. So I actually went to the joint of cohort before this I actually decided kind of back april last year. Um But has definitely mentioned there's a there's a scholarship program in Singapore for me you know joining in. I mean it's not even close right? I mean I work for a french bank um You know I thought you know you know if I could get a buy in from my from my company as to why you want to do you want to be away from your work for a period of time you know in Seattle was kind of the only choice. You know I really like the part about um you know the part time part of it you know in two weeks every quarter. Um There is as much time as I think I can get away with my job so I think it's well thought out well planned.
