Uh, and it's something that will stay with you for for the rest of your life. Yeah, My name is Andre and I come from Bucharest, Romania. I'm currently part of the military, one class at inset, and right now I'm in in South Asia campus in Singapore, about to start my before, which is something that I'm really excited about. I did my undergraduate studies in the UK at the University of Work, where I studied philosophy, politics and economics. I graduated in 2019, and then I did a gap here for six months. I worked at Deloitte in Bucharest, um, in the management consulting, focusing specifically in the end, in the energy industry. So let me tell you a bit now about why I chose to the main program at insects specifically, Um, first of all, obviously there's the really good and strong reputation that the school has. The NBA program, for example, was recently ranked number one in the world by the Financial Times, and I expect to see the main program up there very soon. Um, for me, I really like the program is truly international, and I mean that in terms of the class diversity, but also in terms of different locations that you can go through, Um, you know, throughout your time at inset. So in terms of the you know, the class diversity just in the first batch, we are over 30 different people and, you know, at inside they say that everyone is a minority, and I can tell that it's certainly the case, and, you know, in terms of the different locations that you can study in, Well, we start in Fontainebleau, uh, in the Europe campus for six months, and then all of us moved to Singapore for another four months, which to me is something really exciting, because in my case, I haven't been to Singapore before. So it's really a great opportunity for me to learn more about the Asian culture to, you know, experience life in a different city. At the same time, we're all still together, which, you know, makes it even better. In my case, I felt that, you know, from my undergraduate degree, even though I really enjoyed it. So going into the business world, I felt that I needed a bit more applied and practical knowledge in area in areas such, you know, financial, accounting, marketing, finance. You know, these are the things some of the knowledge that the incitement can really equip you with. What I really like about the teaching and insights specifically is apart from the really amazing professors, teaching is done to the case study method, which means that in almost every class, we, um, go through a particular case, that challenge that our company is facing, for example, and we apply the concepts that were in class to that specific problem. This way, for me, at least, it helps me understand the content much better. The last, but definitely not least for me is, you know, the really amazing and active alumni community. Um you know, even before being admitted into insect throughout the application process, I got in touch with my local alumni association in Bucharest. I was honestly amazed by how open and supportive they were. At that time, they had a conference going on at the National Bank of Romania, and they invited me to, you know, meet more people and to see get a taste of what you know, Being part of the inside along the community is like and that's just something I didn't really experience when applying to other business schools. I can tell that even now, as a student, I mean the job searching process and most inside alumni are, you know, just a Lincoln message away. So you have access to so many people that you can, you know, get in touch with for any health tips or any information that you may want about a particular company or a particular industry, which, you know is something that is really invaluable and that, like I said, it's something that will stay with you for the rest of your life.
