HBs. Has such a unique academic structure and it's kind of broken into two different parts. Your first year is something we call the required curriculum where you have a set of course is that you have to take each semester. The nice thing about it is that it really covers the fundamentals of business education, so you get everything from marketing fundamentals, finance even you know, unique ones. Like we have a really cool one that focuses on entrepreneurship and then also one that focuses on business government and the international economy, which is just an incredible way to put yourself in the shoes of a protagonist who is actually leading a country and understanding some of the complexities and challenges that they face. In your second year you get to actually choose your courses so you can tailor it to areas of interest, you can choose things that you might not have ever taken before. There's a lot of flexibility to how you can build out your program. The really cool thing too about H. B. S. Is that we teach based on the case method and the way that it works is it's almost like a Socratic method where you're really learning by teaching each other. You have to read a case in advance that basically encapsulate some sort of business problem. Do you read the case and you're trying to think through what would you do in the protagonist shoes in this situation there really trying to mimic what the real business world is like. There's a lot of uncertainties that business leaders face and you have to learn how to be uncomfortable making tough decisions like a business leader. Um And this is a great way to do it but it's really to help challenge you to really be able to lead an uncertainty and to be able to deal with ambiguity and a really constructive way. It's just an incredible way to learn business education.
