As you could see it by the title of I'm gonna be talking about a few different places that offer student discounts that I actually used because as a college student you want to use all the discounts that you can't save money anywhere possible. So the 1st 1 that I use that I feel like most college kids use or know somebody who uses is spotify. It's great because then, if you want to listen to any type of music you can or, if you want to listen to new music, could do it without having to worry about ads or YouTube video. I go to a Seymour LA just because of a need art supplies, and it's one of the cheaper places. So if you ever need any art supplies or if you are in a design class hit up a Seymour versus a local art store, people, they're gonna be half the price. So another just company uses Apple because I have a Mac book, and before I came to school, that's when I bought it. Sure, I got the student discount beforehand, so it's not much. When you're buying a big ticket item like $300 can be elsewhere, and it calls to be used for Apple Parent, which is what I ended up doing. I also don't like a warranty, which was nice but definitely recommend using that. Because I answered it uses its adobe because so as a graphic design student, use illustrator a lot, and then sometimes you'll use InDesign or like photo shop. So you kind of need to have adobe software on your laptop and they offer student discounts. So definitely get that because you're gonna save a lot of money. So the next thing is, some local movie leaders will give you a discount if you show student I d. So no over near us. There's a cinema, and as long as you show your student, I d get a discount, which I just went to the movies yesterday. Granted, yesterday was a Tuesday, some tickets for only $5. But technically speaking, if you came there as a student, then you would get like three or $4 off, which is still nice. If you go on Tuesdays, you'll save me with more money. Grant it half the time you're gonna forget about it, or it will be read him stories you've never heard of before. As somebody who lives in a city, I use it for, like mega bus tickets because you get a discount for that. So I know that me and my roommate, we went up to New York, and then we used the Uni Days discount save money there. Another discount that I have used is different local art museums. So as a Westfall studio direction, you can get in touch any of the art museums in Philadelphia for free. Which is really nice because a lot of teachers will assign You have to go there and, like, do stuff with artworks or whatever. So it's really nice having the ability to get in for free. If you just want to go to the art museum, it's really nice. So I know that we can get into the PM and the barns. That pens campus, the I C A, which is free for everyone so like you don't have to be an art major, but it's so people. Another thing that I definitely used is local restaurants will offer discounts for the students who go to schools around there, so I know landmark It is a chain that they have in a discount for us as directional students and 10 students where we can get half price brunch on I believe in Saturday's, but I know Sundays as well. Which is nice because if you want to go out with your friends, for Branch can pay half the prince in its saving money and getting good food. So another college essential is Office 365 which is essentially, Just make yourself word like Power Point, which you're good, Andy, because you have a lot of essays, power points and projects and everything in general. So Office 365 offers their entire I want to say it's a suite for free with a student email so you can just download it onto your computer down spanning thing, which is really nice, because then, after you're not a student anymore, you still happen on your top so highly recommend getting that if you don't already. If you're doing a group assignment, then you can share with other people another way to save money. Freshman is Bed Bath and Beyond will have college night throughout the summer where you could go and save money. It's just a good time to, like, get the college essentials that you're gonna need for college. So you're gonna need to get cheats and a comforter in just a little tip IDs here. They're definitely took advantage of that because you're only a college student for four years, and then my last tip, which is honestly, the best thing that I found was using target to your advantage, because normally you cannot walk into target. If you go online and you make a college registry, it's kind of similar. You are betting a baby registry or a wedding registry, but it's for college. So essentially what it's used for as you add all the stuff that you're gonna need for college, and it will be like different target items and then that you can send it out to like family friends if you're having, like, a graduation party or something. Then everything that is not bought at some point, I don't know when But like everything that isn't bought off of your college registry, you can add it to your cart online and then instantly you'll say 15%. So here's what I did because I, like, cheated the system. I made the college registry with my like, Russell email, and then I just put everything into the registry, put everything into my car, and I instantly saved 15% on everything that I bought for college, which is essentially, like using and abusing a student discount.
