I just got back from a run right now, so I'm gonna go freshen up with clean up, but I'll see you guys in a zoom. So peaks You're so quick rundown on my academics and why I decided to be a political science major. So I said I'd be a little science major, cause my first, you know, I came in and I took a class called this national politics. The class, you know, just kind of struck me, talk about international law on how like different countries handle law. So that was something I was like, you know, what I want to continue my political science major and I continue taking courses in it, and I fell in love. I don't want to get bogged down too much of the nitty gritty because, I don't know, designed by Major, why love police? I definitely with something that should come dancing experience. Everything about me is I'm taking classes in the sciences and I've taken Justin array of classes, and that's actually how I decided to be a Spanish and black studies double minor. Um, I feel like my academics was just like something that was really well rounded. While I had a major, it wasn't something that was my life. I think that was something that was great about Dennison. I could save a bullet, probably signed Major, but I can also say that I know teachers and professors from different departments, which was I really want to emphasize like academics is great and all, and you OK, you'll get involved in that during our go there in June orientation. Something really wanna like press, like press on and emphasize is like people like that is something that really drove my time here. Dennis ing and really like suits my experience at Denison. Just my friends, my professors like internships that I had my connections, my like advisors and in the career center, like every part of campus and every interaction I had with people like there was something special unique in my area. They wanted toe push me to my lemon and see me excel in and outside the classroom. So aside from my academics and like my experience with people are dentists in I just like to give advice to first years coming into a new grad about just like, you know, being yourself. Like my advice for that would be is no one cares who you were in high school coming to college. No one cares if you're the popular person or if you would be nerd or if you played in ban off. You could have been all star athlete in high school and come in and be an amazing kid like it's There's no one mold that you have to fit in college. That is something that I always like to stress to first years just truly be yourself and understand that don't let your high school personality are like some someone you want high school that Jenny felt like you couldn't express shape who you are in college generally come into college and be open to change and be open to self exploration.
