The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
I want to show you guys the outside of the marry its center. So the merry a centre is where Beaulieu basketball takes place. So much more than that is, well, BYU. As I've said before, it's a religious university, and it places a huge emphasis on fostering religious education, religious testimony and things like that. So that being said, they do times events, there are the weak interest in general tio help talk about religion, especially the Mormon religion and things like that. So every Tuesday here in the Mary, a center they put inside where the basketball arena is a stage, and in a stage we'll have, like Mormon Prophet, come or just just scholars. People from the university will come and give a devotional. So that's every Tuesday morning at eleven a. M. And it's a really cool thing that they do, and they've done it for years. They broadcast them on BYU TV, and it's just like a really great thing. During other nights, they have different like events here. They'll have dance shows going on in here, competition, stuff like that. Thie student section for BYU is called the Rock R O. C, which means roar of the Cougars, which some people love it. I like sitting away from the rock, but as a freshman, I love the rock. It's amazing! Right behind me here is the Y belle through History B. Why you started out long time ago as Brigham Young Academy. When that happened, the Mormons came across the Plains, the Pioneers. And they brought a bell for behi A and eventually Bell got destroyed in a fire, and they ended up having to make another and another just different things. So this is the fourth BYU. Why Belle? There's big history there. I don't know if you can hear you might if you listen closely, but there's bells playing in the back right now. We have this huge bell tower on campus where, um, they play live bells every hour, like every in the morning, at least on every hour. It's like a church song or they'll just play the Bells. So turns out there's no way I could get inside the Marriot Center to show you guys they're cleaning it or something for convocation, which is like the graduation coming up next week. I want to show you such a cool him jam on campus every Sunday night at ten PM there's something called tunnel singing, and basically what it is is a bunch of students get together ten PM every Sunday night in this tunnel right there. When they do it for about an hour and it's so fun, even when it's cold, it's like, I don't know. So the acoustics in this tunnel are incredible, and it's just like way fun hit something that since the Marriot Center is pretty close to human halls, it's not too far for like people to walk and to just go to. And I hope, if you come to be with you? You at least spend one Sunday night at tunnel singing assed faras. Nightlife goes at BYU. There's no drinking here because we signed the honor code, which is just like a code of conduct to go here. There's no like drinking or alcohol or drug use or anything on Beaulieu campus. Of course, people still do it, but like it's way against the rules. So a ce faras nightlife goes, We have to get creative and we do other things like tunnel singing. So that's a little bit about BYU. Sorry, Kim. Taking side the Marriot Center just now that fun basketball Funda goodness goes on in there.
