The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
Welcome back to another bu T full video anyways. Hi. How are you? How's your college starts going? I was going great. Ideally, for this video, I would have been able to sit down one on one with one of my friends from you and ask you some questions about their view experience. Going to such a large school as being you means that my friends are from all over the place. I have friends that live in California, in Sweden, in Germany, in China and Assam Street can imagine. It is very hard to get together with people who live that far away from you during the summer. So because I don't have the opportunity to sit down with one of them yet, I decided to kind of survey around with my friends, asked the oppressive questions and kind of gather some consensus is on certain topics and key points about you. Other advertising majors, international relations, majors, education, engineering, psychology, hospitality management, so many different types of people that BU and asking them about their experiences. So I think it's pretty safe to say I have a very comprehensive set of answers to present you today. So? So the first question I asked people was what drove you to choose BU as your school? Obviously, everyone situations are a bit different for some people. Maybe it's the best school they got accepted into, You know, so many different factors, but something that remained pretty consistent across everyone's answer was just the appeal of the quality of academics at BU. You maybe does not have the flashiest campus. We are maybe not renowned for being like for sports or party school. Something that does certainly set us apart is our academics and the strength of the programs that we have here. Look at some of the alumni of our school and what they've done. We're just talked to some people that are going to be you now. It is pretty consistent throughout that the quality of academics fbu it's just extremely strong. I think why this does end up being such an appealing and deciding factor for a lot of people when they're trying to decide on schools and leaning towards you is because at the end of the day there are so many different factors to consider. There are so many different things to balance, you know, pros and cons and that sort of thing. At the end of the day, the reason why you're going to call it is, too. Get an education and prepare yourself for the professional world. There are so many other factors and tiny differences between schools that when you get to comparing all them, it really doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Something that really does that a part of you is the academics. You know, all the other factors campus life, extracurriculars. It is a lot of what you make of it, but academics really doesn't fall under that category. There's not really too much you can do to improve upon a poor academic situation at your school. At the end of the day, you're spending so much time, effort and money on college, and you should really let quality of the academics and the programs at the school drive your decision beyond any sort of other factors that you're waiting.
