So in this video, I'm going to be addressing some frequently asked questions that I've gotten from people who were in the grate below me when I was coming to college or question that I had when I was coming call. It's just things I've read on the Internet. So the first one that I'm going talk about sports. I know basketball, volleyball, soccer are all D one. There's clubs, sports, the D one sports like I mentioned. So although I don't personally do sports there, I do have a lot of friends who aren't on the Dean. One team that still play intramural, my friends, actually on the club basketball team and their team. Just one number one that's well team club basketball team in D. C. So it's definitely something that you'd be a part of if you want to be in high school. I lose my voice, but here it's not exactly the same case. So American doesn't have a football team, which I was very sad about. It's not the type of school where a lot of people go. The sporting events there is definitely like a turnout, but there's not gonna be tailgates or anything like that, like you see a lot of the Southern schools. So that is something you keep in mind before coming to American. So another thing to know on campus is that there is Greek life. There are about fourteen for attorneys, I think, and nine sororities. American, you cannot go through Shorty or fraternity recruitment in your first semester in college, which I love, because then it really allows you to get your footing and get to know bunch people outside of the organization. Then you get Teo, go into it more also, we have a lot of like professional fraternity, so there's a law for at a premed frappe, which a bunch of my friends are in. So those air definitely really awesome, too, and definitely help build your resumes. So so here on campus, kind of switching gears a little bit. We also have arts, music and theater like a lot of it, which is so awesome. So then everything takes place in cats and said, There's like, always art hanging up on the walls. There's a bunch of different like clubs that deal with our himself like that and music and theater. I have entrepreneur friends in the Acapella Group Chamber Choir on DH. Then there's also improv. Um, one thing that I do that kind of falls in that field is W va you, which is your club when I hear clubs, They, uh, is the radio station here on campus, and I have a show every Monday night from six to seven PM If you want to listen, it is W v u dot org's so a little plug there, but it's really awesome. There's a lot of options for that, especially for people who aren't a theater major anything like that. I am currently rolled in a theater class, which called plays, principles and performance on DH. So I don't really have a huge interest in it. So which means it's just like a court class I need that American requires for people to take. Even if you're not right, see there's other classes that you can take within that general education requirement that, like are really good, too. Then you host a bunch of like plays of performances at the Greenberg Theater, which is like super close in walking distance of campus, which is so lost, so there's a lot of options if you're into arts, music and theater.
