mhm. Mhm. Hi, I'm Tekhira and I'm here at Adelphi. Currently, I'm a junior psychology major, but I also minor in art therapy as well as Asian studies. One of the reasons why I was gravitated towards Adelphi when I started here in 2018 was because they valued community as well as the diversity, and they have so many support options for their students. Another reason is because when I started, I need a lot of support, especially financial. As Adelphi has a lot of scholarships that they can offer students, Currently because of the Covid 19, I have classes not only in person, but online as well. There are also hyflex options that I have, where on some days I'm on Zoom. But others I'm in person with my teacher and classmates mhm. One of my favorite topics to learn here at Adelphi is Japanese. It's a great way to meet people, make friends as well as learn about a different culture besides my own.Lastly, I want to talk about my involvement. Here are at Adelphi's campus, I'm not only the president of the Japanese Entertainment and Culture Club that was founded this year, but also a peer assistant leader who helps first year students who come to Adelphi. I hope you join me for more adventures as I take you on a tour of other great places here on campus as well as places outside of campus. If you choose to come here at Adelphi. Thank you!
