My name is Ray and I'm the director of academics here at a list Education. I have two big bits of advice for folks who are going back to school right now. I know for many of you it's been a long time since you've been physically on campus. I know that the last year with social distancing with, in many cases distance learning was really tough, but I think it's also been a long time since you've seen a lot of folks, it's been a long time since you've been on campus. It's been a long time since you've been invested in something physical at your high school. This is a great opportunity to push yourself to try something new to reinvent yourself a little bit uh, and to just explore new directions that you might not have considered before. My second big bit of advice, my background is I'm a literature guy, right? And look at all the books, right? Um, I would recommend that you actually do the reading that society, you and your english courses. I know you're not gonna love everything, but you're getting exposed to the greatest literature that history has to offer. You're never going to have this opportunity again, Maybe maybe in college, right? Um, but you're never going to have this opportunity where the great thoughts of history are put down in front of you in an opportunity to discuss them with peers, to learn about them from a teacher is really passionate about them. Um, I can tell you that if you read this stuff, it's gonna stick with you for the rest of your life, it's gonna inform the way you think it's going to inform the way you act. So do yourself a favor, invest in yourself, become a passionate reader, get exposed to this great literature while it's there on the plate waiting for you. Uh, and I promise you that it will pay dividends down the end.
