Hi, my name is Ray and I'm the director of academics and students success here at a list. Uh, I've worked with hundreds of students over the years. I felt a lot of them get into their dream schools and get phenomenal scores on the standardized tests. There's also been a few students over the years who've gotten disappointing scoring news and I can really think of three different camps of students and maybe you fall into one of these one group of students who often get disappointing news from their scores back. Our students have tried to prepare on their own who think I'm smart. Um, and unfortunately these tests are so tricky and so different than what we're used to in our normal academic curriculum. Um, then it can be tough even for really smart, really hard working students to do well on them independent. The good news is, there are a lot of experts like us here at a list who study these tests for a living with cracked the codes, who know the tricks, Who can really help you figure out how to study the most effectively where to target your effort. So you don't have a repeat of that disappointing performance on your next testing. There's another campus students whose prepping doing the right things doing really well, showing big improvement. Um, but there one or two areas that still have yet to click into place. So I can think of a student I worked with last year, it was really improving accuracy, Getting a lot better at the question. Uh, there were still some issues with some of her question. Prioritization, which wants to skip, which was really what you want to come back to. Uh, and she ended up getting a kind of disappointing score on her first round of the tests. The good news is that improves with time that improves with practice. We kept working together by the time she took her next test, two months later, she was in great shape. Then there's really a third camp of students who just have a bad testing. Sometimes you just fill off, sometimes you're sick, sometimes you have a headache, sometimes you just lose track of time. You get bogged down by one early problem and it kind of tanks a whole section for you. Sometimes that happens even a really smart, really well prepared, really hard working students. So if you're someone who just had a bad test day know that it happens to all of us know that it could happen to anyone any day. Um But the biggest thing is to get back on the horse, keep trying to go for it because you know, we're better than that one school. Mhm. Again, we hope you have people orbit where their support give your health and well if you back in encourage like we do here with our students today, Best of luck moving forward.
