So I am here with Carly, and we just finished up one of our film classes. It's documentary production, and we are in the studio right now at one of the business buildings. Here you can have one of your film classes in here, or you can film and use the green screen and use effects, and you learn all about TV and production here. She was actually in a lay with the Cue and ole program. Do you think you could tell them a little bit about that? Sure. I was out away with the help of Quinnipiac, my advisor on the program director, I found an internship with a television production company. I went out there blindly, kind of didn't know what was going on with the group of eighteen other students from Quinnipiac, mainly communication majors. Um, but one of my roommates was actually the first health science major, so it was an interesting trip for her. Ah, while I was out there, I did a lot of editing for this production company and took on pretty much any rule that they asked me to, which is probably my biggest advice to anybody that's going out there. Um, do everything you can say, Yes, Everything Kind of jump in. It was actually the main reason why I came, uh, toward a bunch of schools. I went out to California and salts in schools, went down to Florida. So when I came to Quinnipiac and I saw that they offered the program, I thought it was kind of the best of both worlds. I don't need to go all the way out to California to goto a film school. Um, I'd heard that they had a great film program and that it was growing and that they were building all of this. Um I mean, you get around it's It's not something that ruined my experience. Yeah, It's a good time in freshman year living. So is there any advice that you would have for freshmen that are going to be admitted into Quinnipiac in the future? Yes. I didn't know what I wanted to do with, um, that major. I traveled Teo Poland, Czech Republic and Germany with Holocaust in film class. In the end, it's a great resume builder, and you meet some awesome people.
