Towards the end of my junior year in high school, I came to the realization that I wanted to spend my summer break doing something productive before senior year. As a former policy debater, I always knew that I wanted to work in the legal profession. In our future, I want to be a lawyer, which also means that it would be highly crucial for me to study things in regards to politics and the functions of the American government and the legal system engineer. So I did a lot of research on programs that I could participate in over summer break during the process of me researching programs and activities that I could be a part of just to get a feel of what my future major would be and what it would be like studying courses in regards to the legal profession, I came across Harvard Summer School, came across a particular course that piques my interest, which went by the name constitutional law, civil rights and civil liberties. After learning about exactly what it was that this course focused on and the concepts that it taught, I came to the final decision that that course would be the best fit for me. So I went ahead and apply after applying, and here in Baghdad, I had got accepted into Harvard Summer School. I enjoyed the group projects because all of my peers were very outgoing and easy to talk to down the earth and just inspiring. They were all ambitious and motivated, just as I waas. So it made the work, or by very smoothly and proficiently. It was such a fun experience, tohave my teacher, Mr Gabriel. Every day after class, he will open office hours for any of us who had any questions or concerns in regards to the class of the material we were learning. He was understanding, respectful and always willing to help you if you needed it. Ultimately, this program allowed me toe intellectually challenged myself to expand my knowledge in many great ways.
