My name is Eddie, and I'm a biology major and music minor. Edie, why did you decide to attend Stony Brook University? I shone stony because it offered me the best financial package out of the other schools that I got accepted into. How are the students and the campus community like here? The students are so welcoming and friendly, they are really just here to help you and sharing your struggles. A CZ. You go through your four years here at Stony Brook. You can always rely on them for notes or just if you need someone to talk Teo and how the academic courses and the programs like here. Some of the costumes here, a Sony drug, are quite rigorous. I feel like they do a pretty good job of going in depth with some of the materials, such as my biology and chemistry classes, which were quite challenging for me. The exams are quite hard sometimes, but you can get through it because they also have office hours from the professor and also ta office hours. What's the typical class size, like our most classes done in large lecture hall settings or smaller classroom settings? So the intro classes for biology and chemistry that I took this semester we're quite large. They were about 500 students, but there are also some smaller setting classes that I took from my undergraduate college, which is a CH, which was about 15 people. So what are 2 to 3 things that you like the most about Stony Brook? Well, I kind of mentioned this before, but I really, really just love the people here. They're just so open and welcoming and even the upperclassmen they're always willing to reach out to you and give you advice. They're not big and intimidating and scary, and they'll just always be there. Do you have any college application advice for our high school students applying to Stony Brook right now? I would just say in general, don't be too nervous about where you get in where you don't get in. I got rejected from my dream school and I was quite upset about it. Being here at Sunnybrook has just made me realize that I make the most out of my own experience and I feel like anyone is able to do that as well. I feel like since Stony Brook is rolling admissions, I would suggest applying early because I applied early as well. It just gave me so much confidence knowing that I actually got into college and did it well, thank you so much.
