Applicants must be full-time students, pursuing a degree in a field of language study. Applicants must demonstrate academic accomplishment and the high regard and respect of their supervising faculty.

Selection is based upon rank and SAT or ACT scores.

Selection is based upon audition, which must include one selection from the Baroque or Classic period and one from the Romantic or Contemporary period.

Applicant must demonstrate academic achievement, rank in the top third of class, and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1100.

Applicant must come from an under-represented group of students, rank in top third of class, and have a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000.

Applicant must be a transfer student.
