Applicant must be a resident of Lawrence, Pike, or Scioto County, Ohio, and have a minimum composite ACT score of 20.

Applicant must be enrolled full-time in a bachelor's degree program, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, be involved in community activities, and have a goal of positively impacting children. FAFSA is required.

Applicant must be a participant in Upward Bound and have a minimum 3.0 GPA and a minimum ACT composite of 18. Community involvement and extracurricular activities are considered. FAFSA is required.

Applicant must be an out-of-state resident who is a first-time, full-time freshman or transfer student who meets two of the following criteria: minimum 3.5 GPA (3.25 transfer GPA), rank in top 10% of secondary school class, or minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 (composite ACT score of 27).

Applicant must participate in the summer ministry program of the Board of Christian Education of the Ashland-based Brethren Church.

Applicant must receive a church scholarship that meets Internal Revenue Service guidelines for charitable deduction.
