Applicant must be a North Carolina resident or a full-time student at a North Carolina school. Awards are in two divisions, for ages 10 to 15 and ages 16 to 21. Audition required.

Applicant must be a member of Sigma Alpha Iota and be willing to study music in a program outside of the United States.

Applicant must be a student who shows exceptional promise and achievement and who is a member of a traditionally underrepresented group at the university.

Selection based upon talent in theatre, music, dance, art, writing for publication, debate, leadership, entrepreneurship, or community service.

Applicant must be an incoming or currently enrolled undergraduate student. Minimum 3.4 GPA required.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student proven academic ability, student activities and potential for leadership who has completed high school in North Carolina.

Applicant must be majoring in political science with a minor in international affairs. Minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum of six hours in the international affairs minor curriculum required.

Applicant must be pursuing a degree in music and be actively involved within the jazz program, including the jazz ensemble. First consideration will be given to applicants with a minimum 3.0 GPA, second consideration given to applicants with a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student who has graduated from an accredited North Carolina high school and who has demonstrated interest in majoring in on of the programs offered by the Cameron School of Business.

Applicant must have been accepted to the UNCW Watson School of Education.

Applicant must major in education.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 high school GPA and a combined SAT Reasoning score of 1200 who is an active Catholic leader. Essay required.
