Applicant must have valedictorian status and have goals consistent with the college. The college reserves the right to make changes to this award in cases where the graduating class is less than 50. SAT Reasoning and ACT scores must be received by March 1.

Applicant must be a high school or prep school salutatorian.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1000.

Applicant must have a minimum '90' average and a minimum combined SAT I score of 1100 (composite ACT score of 24).

Applicant must be a freshman student admitted to the Honors program. Applicant must apply for admission to the university in order to be considered.

Applicant must be an undergraduate, graduate, or medical student. Each applicant must identify a mentor, with whom he or she will conduct the proposed project.

Applicant must be in the top 25% of the Manhattan College applicant pool and must have demonstrated outstanding extracurricular accomplishments throughout high school.

Applicant must be a child of an officer, firefighter, peace officer (including correction officers) of New York State, or any of its municipalities who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty.

Applicant must be a student with cystic fibrosis who is pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree. Financial need and academic accomplishment must be demonstrated. Essay, photo, letter from physician, transcript, letter of acceptance, and W2 form required.

Applicant must have a minimum 2.5 GPA and must have at least 12 credit hours. Applicant must be non-traditional in the sense that his/her college education has been interrupted.

Applicants must be members of an AIChE student chapter and enter a contest to solve a chemical engineering design problem.

Applicant must be a United States citizen with a degree in architecture, who is a full-time practitioner, either licensed or unlicensed.
