Applicant must aspire to be a foreign correspondent at some point in their career. Foundation also funds reporting fellowships at foreign bureaus of major news organizations and English-language foreign newspapers.

Applicant must be a medical student obtaining a M.D. or D.O. degree. Applicant must have established permanent ties to Broome County, NY, and be attending an accredited medical or osteopathic institution in the United States or Canada.

Applicant must be a college junior who is interested in pursuing a corporate career in a construction-related engineering discipline. Award also includes an internship and mentoring opportunities. Minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be majoring in civil, chemical, or environmental engineering.

Applicant must be a Native American Indian who is enrolled as full-time student at a college, university, or accredited post-secondary educational institution.

Applicant must be a resident of New York who is an undergraduate student majoring in the field of agriculture.

Applicant must have been a member of a Junior Grange in New York and enroll in a school in New York.

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled full-time in an accredited program. Recipient will be placed in the Majority Press Office.

Applicant must be a full-time student at a school in North America. Award is to recognize and encourage excellence in vacuum science.

Applicant must be a woman attending a school in North America. Selection is based upon academic and research excellence.

Applicant must be attending an accredited institution in North America. Award is to recognize and encourage excellence in the sciences and technologies of interest to the American Vacuum Society. Selection is based upon research and academic excellence.

Selection is based upon superior accomplishment and exceptional promises in the sciences. Additional essay question is part of scholarship application. Five awards are granted for each entering class. Recipient is not required to major or minor in science, math, or computer science in order to receive award.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and must be transferring at least 12 credits.
