Applicant is selected by the dean of each school and college within the university on the basis of outstanding academic performance and potential. Award is for applicants who demonstrate low or no calculated financial need.

Applicant must demonstrate extraordinary contributions to high schools and communities through leadership, service, and co-curricular activities.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.3 GPA, a minimum combined SAT score of 1250 and rank in the top 25% of the applicant pool.

Applicant must be an incoming freshman student. Award minimum will be granted to commuter students, maximum for resident students. Automatically considered when applicant applies for admission.

Applicants must exhibit outstanding musical merit dtermined through a live audition. Applicants also need to demonstrate financial need.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.5 GPA and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning score of 1150.

Applicants are selected by faculty committee. Selection is based upon applicant's high school record, co-curricular achievements, demonstrated leadership, writing skills, and standardized test scores. Applicant must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA.

Applicant must be nominated by his or her high school. Selection is based upon academic performance and potential, leadership, and community involvement. Scholarship-specific essay required.

Applicant must be a transfer student enrolling as a junior at Boston University with a minimum of 60 transferable credits. Selection is based upon nomination by a Phi Theta Kappa chapter advisor.

Applicant must have completed their associate degree and have been inducted into Phi Theta Kappa.

Applicant must have a minimum 3.4 GPA with a minimum combined SAT composite score of 1100 (composite ACT of 23).
