Applicant must be an entering freshman student who live in Cedar, Clinton, Muscatine, or Scott Counties. Preference given to females from rural areas in Scott County, Iowa. Selection is based upon academic achievement and demonstrated involvement in community, school, and/or work activities.

Special consideration given to applicants who show professional promise. Award is for tuition, fees, books, supplies, local transportation, and dependent care in the final year of study.

Applicant must be enrolling in a United States accredited institution of post-secondary education who is employed a minimum of six months by the application deadline.

Applicant must be a full-time student and live on campus.

Applicant must be a high achieving student with an exemplary academic record. Leadership, involvement, and ability to contribute to the college's community are considered.

Applicant must have talent and passion for dramatic performance and production. Audition and/or interviews are required for eligibility.

Applicant must be between the ages of 16 and 26 by March 1 of the year of audition. Applicant must be an instrumentalist or vocalist.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Clarinda High School who will pursue a degree in education at an accredited college or university. Minimum 3.25 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Maquoketa High School. Financial need must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Midland High School who is involved in music and community service.

Applicant must be a graduating senior from Rock Island High School who will pursue a major in engineering or nursing full-time at a college or university in Iowa or Illinois. Financial need and minimum 3.0 GPA required.

Applicant must be a graduating senior planning to attend Augustana College, Iowa State University or the University of Northern Iowa. Financial need and minimum 2.0 GPA required.
