Applicant must be a student from Cloverdale who is a graduating senior of Cloverdale/Geyserville high schools. Community/school activities, leadership skills, and vocational promise must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be a resident of Sonoma, Lake, or Mendocino counties who plans to or is currently majoring in communications or journalism.

Applicant must be a resident of Petaluma who is a Petaluma High School graduate.

Applicant must be a current or former resident of Sonoma County who plans to or is currently majoring in cartooning and/or animation (graphic design may also qualify if branching out to cartooning). Preference will be given to students with some professional experience.

Applicant must be a graduate of Santa Rosa High School who will be attending a school within the University of California system.

Applicant must be a graduating senior at a high school in the greater Sacramento or Denver area who has a parent/legal guardian with terminal cancer or other terminal illness, or who have lost a parent to a terminal disease during their tenure in high school. Minimum 2.5 GPA required.

Applicant must be attending American River College or Cosumnes River College. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need must be demonstrated.

Applicant must be a student enrolled in the nursing program at Sacramento City College. Minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need must be demonstrated.
