Applicant must currently be enrolled in a Teacher Librarian Credential program in the CSLA Northern Section.

Selection is based upon academic performance, personal achievement, standardized test scores, recommendations, and involvement in community or school activities. Students selected for this award have strong grades in a most demanding curriculum and a minimum combined SAT Reasoning (critical reading and math) score of 1400.

Recipient must be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program and must minor in hospitality management.

Original script of a sole author or of exactly two collaborative authors is required. Entries must have been written originally in English. Adaptations and translated scripts are not eligible.

Applicant must be a woman who is a resident of the Greater Los Angeles area. Applicant must be establishing herself as a single-parent head of household and does not have adequate financial funds for immediate needs due to extreme circumstances following the dissolution of an abusive or emotionally traumatic relationship.

Applicant must be of Armenian descent who is an undergraduate full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university. Minimum 3.0 GPA, participation in Armenian community service, and financial need are required.
