Applicants must be 18 years of age and enrolling in or currently enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S. Students must write an essay discussing the necessity and value of presumption of innocence and reasonable doubt in the criminal justice system.

Applicant must be a high school senior with a minimum 3.25 GPA through the first semester of their senior year.

Applicant must be a Hispanic student considered a non-resident of Arizona who has completed 12 or more College credits, with at least nine units in ESL. A 350- to 500-word letter stating reasons for deserving scholarship is required.
