Applicant must be a Pike, Ross, or Scioto County, Ohio, secondary school senior, be planning to enroll as a full-time student, and demonstrate high academic achievement. Preference is given to non-smokers.

Applicant must be a from Scioto or Pike counties in Ohio, or Greenup County, Kentucky. Applicant must have a minimum 3.0 GPA and be recommended by teacher education faculty. Financial need is considered. FAFSA must be completed.

Applicant must be of good academic standing, enrolled in piano or chorus courses. Financial need is considered.

Applicant must be entering the second year of a two-year program or the fourth year of a four-year program with a minimum 2.5 GPA. Financial need is considered.

Recent graduate of Valley or Northwest high schools in Scioto County.

Applicant with highest GPA is given preference. Community involvement is considered.
