International Household Giveaway at University of Wyoming

I am an immigration coordinator here at the University of Wyoming and I wanted to talk a little bit about our annual household item giveaway for international students. This giveaway we do every fall semester right before school starts and is to allow our new international students to get household items that they may be can't bring with them when they come here to go to school. Our community donates items Like bedding and household decor and dishes and small furniture. Then our students are able to come and just take whatever they need to furnish their homes and dorms and apartments. This has been going on for about 25 or more years. It's become a tradition on our campus and in our community and we're so glad that we can provide this to us too.
