I'm the global lease on civil service range, which is an alternative break immersion program. So the Puerto Rico trip was a break immersion, So we went in. We worked in game, which is the national rainforest, something there. That's just kind of a taste of what BSP does. We also do our ten domestic spring break trips that center all around social issues. So we teach students how to be social advocates and empower others minutes to make a change in the world. I do a lot of marketing, outreach, and I speaking classrooms, and I do presentations, and I'm actually doing my thesis on how volunteer groups of the community members to me, partners and students were in those programs. Basically being in the CLC is a huge part of my life. It's a huge part of my identity, and I have to balance that with work in school because not only am I a part of this organization and on the word, I'm a student and I have to pay bills, so it's basically just making sure that I stay in bond enough to be competitive for medical school and get back to the center of a community, but also making sure I keep those grades up hand making sharp enough money to support myself and my family. Okay, so what would you suggest for students who want to start getting involved in volunteering but don't really know how? So I highly recommend you just Google. What's out there on top of being involved in the seals? We I also volunteer office, which is the cancer center on campus, and we also have a couple satellite programs. Basically I just knew how to volunteer a global block or how to bond here on campus, and all these results popped up. I don't know how other colleges and universities were Campell saying Which is our work sink? Basically, portal for us to look at different student print service opportunities, and the SEALS does tremendous job of keeping the updated with service opportunities from student Aurens posting magician programs for high school in elementary school, students to volunteer, manned a garden or volunteer with Tampa Bay. Recommend you search you asked around you go to your local volunteering organization, you have a lot of people have Salvation Army, or they have Red Cross with anything like that in there community is that they can go to Awesome.
