Tailgating: How It Works
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
In this video, I'm going to explain how tailgating works for the school. It is one of the best parts of going overseas South Carolina, because everybody does it and everybody loves doing it. It is a little bit complicated, which I wish somebody would have told me when I had my first game. Day is a long day, okay, me and so most of times at like any tailgate you have, it'll be like burgers. So I always make sure ate a lot before and I eat a bunch of buns. It's like my lunch I gave you all the time, but that's a personal note. You have a different a few different options for till meeting. You could always tell you that at the Fair Grounds, which is connected to the stadium. It's usually more family oriented type tailgating, partying, whatever. I almost went one time they did it, so I don't know a lot about it, but I have gone to two other lots. One is called Memorial, and you can buy a spot there, and it's a little just a spot. That's biggest car and you could buy wine before this season, starting for the whole season. A lot of people, like split it between a bunch of people. A lot of people who have trucks gives five because it can bring a bunch of people on it about two staff. People bring tables and tense and tears and everything you could think of, Um, you need a responding it into this lot. The people on the spot get a bunch of responds, and if they need more, they request them sometimes to pay so that they don't think it sort of depends on how the owner's feeling that day. I don't really know that part, but I never meant for it to look good. The other place Tio tailgate at this point is called the Phallus. It's not technically affiliated with the France or the university, so they can kind of do whatever they want. So this year, they decided that people have everybody to pay to get in. Last year it was girls got in for free because there are already so many guys there because frats were the ones that were holding, you know, have the tents and everything, and then guys usually have to pay if they wanted to get in. So they other did it like ten dollars per game or one hundred dollars she's past, even if they're only seven games. This season, ticket passes were completely sold out. You gotta wait on the website for like, an hour and a half for it to load. When people can start buying them, it's it's got a little more killing, more expensive. When you get in there, you know to pay for anything from drinking. He's in the pace and get it, which is nice, But you have to pay to get into memorial. It doesn't really matter in the frat lunches, just exactly. It's a lot full of frat guys, and so it's a lot. Then each frak, it's a huge tent and they usually builds a sort of like some have it. Some temple thing wouldn't stains that people can dance on. There was a huge speakers and people making drinks and stuff like that that's going to survive there. Memorial's a little more toned down because it's not because, you know, it's a bunch of groups of different people with just a little lot little parking spot. This is a much larger there's a lot of people there all the time. If you don't like me, are a lot of people for a lot of fur, you world better fairgrounds. You just kind of like, feel it out and I know you want to do it, but people start tail getting really early in the morning. It's really like at least five hours before kick off. When there's a new game, people started like nine a. M. I never didn't have because I like sleeping, but I get it. Um, a lot of times you if you don't get a ticket, used to stay up whatever. So there's still kind of like partying going on even when the game happenings. If you I happen to not get a ticket due to whatever reason, so its whole life on it.
