Professionals Perform Here and So Do We! Eastman Theatre - Kodak Hall

Kodak Hall is considered a classroom at Eastman, and a very special one too. It was built in 1922 originally as a movie palace for silent films. This is where ensembles such as Eastman Philharmonia, Symphony Orchestra, Wind Orchestra and Wind Ensemble perform. Kodak Hall is the home of the Rochester Philharmonic. My teacher is principal horn of the RPO and he heavily suggests his students come sit in on their open rehearsals. There's almost always something going on in this center of the arts and it's easy to catch a show with student discount prices.
