I'm currently studying biomedical engineering with a concentration in biomechanics, and I'm also mining in Spanish. So I come here from just north of Allentown, Pennsylvania, and I am involved in our steamer, which is our aunties on campus. I'm an avid racer, and I am also part of our dalliances program, which is something I'll talk about a little bit later when I talked about freshmen housing, so a couple of reasons I came to Rochester specifically first, we're a liberal arts school with an engineering program. So that was important to me as an engineering major because I really wanted access to that liberal arts education. So we're about six thousand undergrads, So we're not too big. We have access to most of the resource is a large university would have. We're also not just considered a number here. Ah, third thing is our location for a couple of reasons. Also within the city where About a fifteen minute drive from downtown. So we have access to everything that's happening in the city without actually being in the very center of it. I, also our planet, right next to Strong Memorial Hospital, which is one of the best hospitals in New York State S O. If that we get access to the E r. God forbid you need it. Um, we also have access to the med school and also a lot of research. So on the topic of research, all of our professor required to do it. Again, Teo, be assisting and research and also to maybe get published as an undergrad, which looks really good on resumes and also on the topic of academics. So instead of taking Jennette, you get to actually take classes that you're interested in. The only requirement we have is writing one o five, which is a basic writing courses pretty much applicable to anything but other than that you're actually taking classes that you enjoy. So I'm really excited to show you Rochester and all that it has to offer.
