What's in my backpack - College Edition
The following is an computer-generated summary of the video transcript.
So I've been doing this thing for a while now, so I really know what you need and what you don't need. On the side, I always bring my hydro flask. This is really handy because you don't have to buy water bottles. Usually on college campuses, there's a ton of water fountains. This backpack is great if you have a laptop because it's kind of hard and patted on the back, so your laptop is going to be completely safe, but usually for class. If I do decide to bring my laptop, I will bring my MacBook air. It's really light, and it doesn't get too heavy. Sometimes I'll bring it to the library probably, and mostly I'll just edit videos on there and watch movies and stuff, but I don't really need that much laptop power, I guess in my everyday life, that class, because usually you'll just be taking notes. I'm a business major, but maybe if you were an engineering major or something like that, you might need a better laptop. The next things that I have in here are folders, so you really don't need a binder. You don't really need anything that's that intense. So I always swap out what folder sometimes you honestly don't even need a folder of all of the work is online. Syllabus is still by tests, quizzes, all that stuff. Usually in college, they're not really into paper. So this is another thing that you may or may not need? It really does depend on the professor in the class. Sometimes you have to hand write them on paper, and sometimes you'll just need paper for in class activities. So I always just liked to have at least one notebook, but again, it just really depends on whatever class you're taking. I just really don't need that that often. One life pack that you should know is that usually college textbooks are so much cheaper. Then it's so heavy because when you go to the library to study, you just have to carry that around and it's really annoying. So you honestly could do your planner and stuff on your computer or on your iPad. But to me, there's just something special about having a planner and actually physically riding down the dates of everything. I've been using these planners since high school, and they're really amazing. I really like it because I can just see everything that's in here. So I always bring some pads and tampons, all that girl stuff, and that I also bring lotion hand sanitizer. Lastly, I just have some blistering breath spray because usually I'll eat in between classes and I don't want my breath smell bad. So it tastes really good. If you are a girl, I would just recommend doing this because if you need something and it's in your dorm, you're gonna have to walk all the way back and then walk all the way back to your classes so I don't like doing that. So just always think of things that you might need and just put them in a small bag in your backpack. I have an iPad charger and a phone charger, sometimes offering my laptop charger, but usually with the MacBook air I really don't need It lasts pretty much all day, So I have those chargers. I find that they are really helpful, and they prevent your cord from bending. It's pink, and I might be needing this for my finance class. If you're in college, you need to get one of these white erasers because on Scantron ziff, you need to erase. I ordered them off of Amazon and I think there were, like, 25 or 30 in the package, and it was a really good price. This backpack is really great because it has a ton of pockets for you to organize your stuff in. I always just bring random snacks in case I get hungry in class, you can usually eat in there. They're just really helpful for if you need to blow your nose, because in high school they have tissue boxes in all of the classrooms. They don't do that in college so always make sure you bring some if you have allergies or whatever, so that you don't have to go to the bathroom all the time. The last thing that I have in this pocket is headphones, so I usually will use these at the library if I have to watch a video online. There's a lot of different stuff that college classes have you do on the Internet, so just always have headphones with you. You can watch Netflix in the library if you want to do that, so I always bring these. So now my backpack is completely empty, and that is literally everything that I personally need for class.
