The basic information that you're going to need when you're comparing schools. Let's start with the demographics and size. Like I mentioned earlier in the tour, is located indent in Texas, which is about an hour outside of Dallas, which is one of the larger metropolitan areas in Texas. So if you like that big town feeling but still feel like you're not in a big city, I would definitely recommend considering living and didn't because you still get the Citi field without being in such a huge place, such as Dallas or Houston Austin. So that's something that I really enjoy about the area. As for the size of the campus, it's definitely more on the medium to big size. It's a fairly large campus with almost forty thousand students, so there's about thirty eight thousand students if I'm being more accurate. About three quarters of those students are full time or residential students or both, and the other quarter is either nontraditional students, so that means they're commuters or their online students or part time. Bunch of different types of students here. There's not everybody is going to live on campus or even near campus. There's gonna be a wide variety off all kinds of people coming in from different areas, and that also includes the staff. So some of my professors, they do commute from Dallas or Carrollton or areas in the surrounding vicinity. So just keep that in mind that not everyone you meet that goes to you and he is gonna live in, didn't you? Auntie is number seven in Texas is top best public school thing in the top ten makes you see where people love the most. So eunt is definitely love school in very accredited in different ways. So if I were to describe the characteristics of the student body, I would say it's very open minded. So no matter who you are, where you identify as who you love, what you look like, everyone loves you here at U. N. T. And that's something really great, because we could all come together despite our differences. As for the academic culture, I would say definitely, probably not as hard as some of the more prestigious university, such as Yu T or an M. But there's definitely some competition in terms of scholarships, especially if you're taking more of stem classes or business classes. Um, those are going to be a lot more difficult than, say, liberal arts. That's just kind of what the style is like, but definitely expect the challenge when you come here, especially if you're gonna be in the honors college in A lot of the professors are generally pretty friendly, and they work with you to make sure that you succeed in their classes. So some of the popular majors are liberal arts, psychology, the humanities, biology, chemistry, journalism's of those basic kind of core majors that aren't specialized. Such is like social work, so those bigger, categorical majors are going to be the most popular because there's more diverse opportunities of those. I would definitely say there are so many majors at you and tea so you can find something that's good for you. It doesn't have to be one of the most popular majors, which is really awesome because there's so much to choose from, and there's so many things that you can learn about here.
