Hello. My name is Kiara Jimenez. I'm from St. Louis and I'm a pre nursing major. This is my second year here at UMKC.Well I chose UMKC for their nursing program here or health science program It's really good and you have great connections to a job after you graduate UMKC. I also chose it because it's in the city. So you get to experience a lot of the culture city as well. I think I chose it because of the fall when it's fall time the trees are beautiful yellow and orange, So It's my favorite. I'm currently at the top of student union and it's a great place to hang out before class or study for an exam and you get this amazing view here. So it's my favorite spot to hang out study. So my favorite place to study is the library. It's open from seven a.m. To 12 o'clock I'm usually there at night and that's what is the least amount of people. And my favorite spot is booths because they have a table that's a white board. I'm involved in Latinx student union and Avanzando mentoring program which is for Latin students and Hispanic students in you Casey and they get assigned a mentor in the same major as them who is working the job currently so they can advise them and show them or even connect them to the hospital or in my case the hospital that they can work at. I am a nursing major Bachelor of science in nursing but I'm applying to the program so I'm excited hopefully I get in. But I think I'm excited to work in a hospital and like completing what I came to college for and like the main experience. Like I know UMKC Can provide that for me so.
