In college, you're going be meeting a lot of people, and they're going to be a lot new experiences where you have the option Thio partake in. You're not going to get anywhere by doing that, especially if you're holding on to kind of who you were before college. I understand this is incredibly hard, but try to be open to new ideas and new experiences. One of my resolutions for 2015 was to say yes, more as tiny as, Hey, you wanna watch a movie Thio like really big questions, uh, also tying into Let's just try to stay positive and to be grateful because let's keep in mind that you were currently in school. You're getting a higher education and you are incredibly lucky to be here to be part of an institution. College is really expensive, and not everyone gets that opportunity. So just run to be thankful that you were there and experiencing it all because of that, trying to take advantage of everything that you are paying for. So tip number two don't be shy to introduce yourself. College is full of new people, and you'll probably see new people every single day. I know what times it can be intimidating and difficult. So all you have to do is take a breath and say, Hey, what's up? I'm Kayla. The other day I run into somebody with a T shirt from a high school back home in Minnesota. So it's not every day that you see this tiny high school from where I grew up here. I just reached out and asked her, Hey, like, is that school X, Y and Z from Minneapolis? And she was like, Yeah, I mean, sorry talking. Introduce yourself a new people meeting new people and introducing yourself. Now these are two things in college that are completely up to you to take care of. They can easily be forgotten about our scene is that it's important, but it is so incredibly important to be organized and to manage your time well, so something that helps me with both staying organized and managing my time is creating a to do list in My planner lashed back to my last week of school before summer. Basically, what I'm showing you guys here is in blue are all my academic to do is for the weak and then right is personal, such as a passive form or edit Thursday's video that YouTube life make a thumbnail laundry find hearing Oops. Personally, this is just a way for me to stay organized and to see all of the work that I have to take care of that week. Then I take this new list and figure out how to manage the time that I need to make sure that everything on the list gets done. A to do list isn't for everyone, so that's something that you know that won't work for you. It really got me through a difficult transition from high school to college. It's not as important what your outlet is, just that you have one, so make sure to find your outlet and number five my final took today is very simple. This times back to number one was You're so fortunate to be there and to be in college and to be earning this degree. Make sure to take a step back and appreciate it, too.
