Hey guys, looking back to my channel, there's no, like, definitively to know exactly whether or not you're gonna get into college like your ideal college. I know you guys were gonna, like, try to guess, to meet anyways, because I know that I did so much when I was going to the Bronze Nous. Lf I took off like a B C and first your dragons in school, I think the best way to use these tips are just, like, figure out, um kind of like, where do you stand sort of colleges and sort of like Imagine your own expectations and not like, definitely saying whether or not you're gonna get it. Obviously s I previously said, but honestly, if there is a school that you know that you want to go to your dream school, if you have your mind seven it, I'd say, just like Dillinger, the super fans of minds that do your best in school on Deacon. If it's like really a reach school for you, that's totally fine. Personally, I did not get into my dream school, but I ended up going to an amazing school with a full tuition scholarship. Wasn't at school is like a reach amid are likely for you something else to keep in mind. I hear the academic caliber of your high school like I went to high school. Where be at my school? Waas An A at other schools in comparisons like whatever the general standard waas So your call counselor actually sends a document out that explains like your school so that, um, people who are reading applications could put like your grades and whatever into context. So where I've heard from a lot of college admissions officers is that they prefer to see, like, growth over time. So if your GPS and be a little lower, as long as, like your grades freshman year were lower. Mom, you like, gradually raise them and, like your junior and senior year greater like very strong like it still looks good, even if you like messed up rushing here. If you're still in your junior year while you're watching this, I would really take into account when you're choosing classes for next year, if you're making sure that you pick classes that you can do well in. You make sense so example, my senior year a lot of people took AP science courses, but I decided to just take a science elective. Taking Ap course I know was gonna be, like, way more of a struggle to do well in the nipples, like AP history for something like that, Yeah. Ideally, you would really and that because you want your senior grade, especially those first semester senior. Those were definitely the ones that colleges air paying attention to the most your junior year grades and your first night searching your year grades because that's the most telling it, like how you're going to do academically in college and then tip number three. If you've already applied to colleges soon, Hopefully you've done a lot of research on the school. I just go back and look through the website and see the schools like extracurriculars in their mission and just kind of trying to paint a picture of what you think they're ideal student would be and that kind of measure yourself up against that. I think there's around like the B plus range, which, you know, whatever. So there's that thing is that I did assume any extracurriculars in high school because it's like what I was really passionate. Like in high school, I let through clubs and like that, it's also like I didn't just do all of these things. I was, like, throughout my experience in high school, I did a lot of extracurricular, better toe, you know, happened do things into Russian ears and to just like all of a sudden, you're like, Oh, shit, I need extra healers and do them all c area. By seeing yours, leading three clubs I had a job after school is like volunteering. I sat on boards and I was like I had, like, a key voice and making, like, important decisions on my high school campus, So I'm definitely super involved in. So is my side of the last year, but kind of like an anti tip. You just really like obsessive like negative mind space on, like half those people do not know The majority of those people have no idea with talking about, okay, Nobody can look at your stops and be like, Oh, yeah, you're gonna get into school or you're not gonna get into this school. If you're flying to a private institution that, like, literally, they can't you look at your stats and just say, like, yes or no, maybe for going like a public school or like the state's foolish. I'm not entirely sure, but definitely feel like private schools. It's kind of up in years, sometimes even like you could be completely fall by monthly not getting, you know, look at the drop wasn't meant for you. So they know that a lot of you are waiting for those college decisions. Dates like what is the exact date that you're gonna know when you get into college, because a lot of times they give you like the time range. I know you have a lot, but it's not because it's like they want to hold out on you just like literally don't know one till it's finished. I know it's like gonna be the most stressful thing, but I would just suggest Thio kind of stock, all of that social media pages for the schools that you're interested in, like personally, you em. Like I said, like sometimes they just don't know so they can give an exact timetable, give your wrong date and, like, have you you set yourself up to know something like not be able to know until we get a later date. For nearly other schools, like Chapman have like a tumbler where they were responding to questions and they have, like the most up to the info. So just look around what comes So the colleges that you're interested in anyways, So those red tips, I do those once write down what you can permit and then just like, don't obsess over it. I know I feel like I've wasted a lot of time doing not my senior year, when really lots of border is making sure you keep your grades up because those were still important. You don't want to, like, I know people who, like, get into schools and whatever great things. If you want to see from me, I'm gonna start weekly blogging my experience that you guys really like those.
