Hi, my name is Marie Harold and I am a current second year full time student within the University of Maryland robert H. Smith School of Business. Soon to be an alumni should be graduating in less than a month at this point. I am from the Maryland area and actually went to the University of Maryland robert H. Smith school of Business for my undergraduate education. Um I got a two degrees in finance and supply chain management. Um worked for a few years in the area and then decided to come back and get my M. B. A. And one of the reasons that I came back to Maryland and smith from my MBA were that I was very comfortable with the school. I knew the area, I knew that this school had a great reputation. I knew that the professors were all really great and for me, you know going into this sort of unknown territory of graduate school program, it was really important for me to have some comfort in terms of my surroundings. Uh, so one of the personal reasons that I went to Maryland, but other than that I, when I was going to admissions activities when I had gotten admitted and before I applied, it just seemed like everybody was really tighten it. Um, all of the uh, current students that I talked to were like, oh, let me connect you with. And so, uh, you know, for this thing you're interested, let me connect you with. And so for this class that I didn't take, but I know they did. So it seemed like there was a really good connection in community with the people in the program. Um, and also the staff and professors that I met prior to accepting my offer, We're all really warm and inviting and that's something that I really valued in the classroom experience. You know, I knew it was going to be a challenging experience, but I wanted to be supported and have good resources along the way.
