I'm gonna be talking to you guys about my college experience, and I just wanna get comfortable. So my first questions answer is Why did I choose this college? So I chose the university because not only was it really close, I mean an hour away from where I used to live. I don't know if I like small classes and I remember shadowing somebody and they had to make sure both and I feel like that works good for me because it is a big university. That's kind of what I enjoy about it, because I'm the kind of person that I like a little bit of everything because you know what I'm just kidding, but I like a little bit of everything. So to have a variety of class size was really important for me and sit out and also because again, it's beautiful. Um, am I happy being a student at the college? Yes, I am happy because it's really easy for me to make friends, and I have a dorm. So I'm gonna score really fast just so you guys can see some places that you can spend your flex money at. Like CBS, I have unlimited meal swipes and guests Life's So that is really convenient when you live on campus because you don't want to be responsible for going grocery shopping because you're full time suiting. I can't but they But you know what? Back its old real quick like I really miss my mama's cooking like her food, my grandma's food like everybody. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way because I have asked people you know what you think about the foot of the dining hall just to make sure I'm not crazy and they're like, Oh, the pizza hits like everybody knows the pizza is pretty good. You know, they don't mess that up, but everything else can be improved. So I got my own room, and now I can watch TV, do what I want to do, because before it was, it wasn't working, you know? I mean, so you know, in my experience, if there's any ways, have privacy or to get your own dorm, that is the best route because living in the space with somebody else that you've never met before. If you're more like me like I'm an independent person, I would just keep it at your own space into your own thing, because that's gonna be the easiest thing when you're in college. You know you don't wanna do you with somebody else if you don't have to. I found that really difficult, considering that I never really tried to think that way before. Math can be kind of difficult if you're not the bus stop, mama, because sometimes the teachers, either they go really fast or they don't show you like what, what's on the homework? And you have a lot of homework and my classes. Tell me why the teacher completely changed with me was completely open with me with what was gonna be on the test. What to look for, what not to do, You know, stuff you don't learn in class. So go to the office hours and you're not gonna fill because they're gonna write your name down, or they're going to remember you. So those few people who make the effort to go you really stand out to the teachers. Another question that's really important answer is about me in what am I doing at UK? So my major is integrated a strategic communications tongue Twister. So I'm gonna read you guys the exact definition. I feel like I can make an entire video about my major itself and what it is, what I'm gonna do with it, etcetera. Kaye's website also I want to mention this is you can see all the classes that you're supposed to take for your major, and you can see, like the careers that are possible the number of jobs currently, how many jobs and average in a 10 year job outlook are gonna be available over. So that's really exciting because you're already looking at your future, the whole point of gynecologists and, like, party and have a good time. It's about getting ready for your future job, and I'm not gonna life you talking about having a good time. I have made some really great friend and we have had great times. You know what? I may even new friends that I didn't even know before college. It's nice to be on a campus where you can do that, because I know in my experience in high school I had a hard time talking to people. It's not really important is more like people are just born polite and respectful, so I just really, really enjoyed that about UK because I feel comfortable and safe. There are two important things that you should know. Health Service is also really important because sometimes you probably have the flu. You can go to the doctor, and it's included with your student insurance, so it's not like you're gonna go to the doctor and pay now. Some of my friends don't have a car, they don't need a car, but they want a car, so it's kind of up to you and your personality if you're gonna eat at school, if you want to eat off campus, kind of all you need a car for and also getting to work. That can be really bad if your friend doesn't pick you up or whoever said they were. If you have the opportunity of getting a car, I would do it knowing that the Kroger Field Car Pass is probably we slinging their history parking. I really like the school I made friends, and I pretty much haven't easygoing time at Tom's on too much work. It's always been like that since I was in high school, so that's just pearly you're always gonna have challenges. You know, nobody's life is perfect, especially when you're in college. Put good wives out there and get good jobs back and you're gonna love it.
