Okay, So first I'm going to tell you a little bit about things that I'm involved with on campus. So you can kind of get like, ah, feel of what you could be doing if you came here. The first thing I'm gonna talk about is my on campus job. So I work in a p O T, which is Patterson Office Tower. It's like right in the middle of like, all my classes. I do about three hours a day, four days a week, which is super nice. My boss is so awesome because since it's an on campus job, which there's so many available, he knows that, you know, some days I would have to be like, you know, could I make up more hours on another day because I have a test coming up and I really need to study for that. In total, I work from like ten to fifteen hours a week to think. Oh, so my actual job is I work for the College of Arts and Sciences, and I do all their you know, their videography. I show up to events, and it really helps with my I'm second major, because I'm just I'm always learning on the job. So it's a really great thing that I'm involved with. Definitely recommend an on campus job because you're going to be broken college, and it's super convenient. Something else I definitely recommend to get involved with at UK is called Dance Blue. So Dance Blue is something that everybody knows about on campus like it's such a big organization. It is a twenty four hour, no sitting, just standing and dancing dance marathon that completely donates all its proceeds to pediatric oncology. So it's a super good cause you're surrounded by amazing people. Last year I was on tech committee and the year before I was a dancer. So it's just something that you make so many good friends, and it's a really pure cause you're around. You're like surrounding yourself by really pure, nice, good people, and you're also kind of like working. You're definitely working outside of yourself, so it's just you're getting back to the community. So definitely look for organizations on campus to join them and then join their dance blue team because that's how you start to get involved. Like a leadership position, like your sophomore years, something honestly, just jump into a leadership position your freshman year like it's the best thing you'LL ever do in college, So definitely check that out. Think else arm involved with on campus is Greek life. So Greek life is about twenty seven percent of our entire campus is makeup of students. You can definitely feel that there's a Greek light volume. That doesn't mean that you have to do Greek life like I know so many people heavily involved with dance blue, for example, or student activities board or student student fellowships. If you choose to go on the Greek life path, just make sure that you signed up for the early rush registration because we start rush pretty early. Our Greek Spirit Week is early August, so we're getting ready full gear. Let's go right in the beginning and you know it's a commitment, but I mean, everything's a commit right now. I'm actually my sorority's new member coordinator. The more leadership roles you take, like, the more you're gonna know your entire chapter because the chapters are they can be pretty big minds about like, two fifty girls. Alright, So lastly, I want to leave you all with the fact that you know all this stuff I'm involved with. I don't really recommend B involved with this many stuff overbook myself this year. Taking nineteen hours and getting involved with this much stuff your freshman year is not something I recommend, but something I do recommend is definitely getting involved with at least one thing on campus your freshman year. If you're not getting involved, you're not going to feel the community sense that you could feel at UK like everybody's involved with something and if they're not involved with something that kind of fuel left down. So whether that's Christian student fellowship or student activities board or student government, any kind of Greek life, intramural sports clubs, sports dance blue. I could just go on for hours, definitely go on to Youcause website and see all this stuff that you can get involved with but definitely do that because it is sitting at a bigger school and I want you guys to get the best of your college experience. So if you go to UK, make sure you're dabbling yourself in those things.
