So I just wanted to do a couple of quick facts about UK. If you were wondering so our total student body population, according Teo, like two thousand seventeen, I'm not sure what it is in twenty nineteen, but it's around thirty thousand four hundred seventy three students, which might be alarming to some of you. It's alarming to me because I feel like it's such a small community now, because I know a lot of people. I'm in a lot of different extracurricular activities, different classes. Even if you're not looking for a super big school, and even if thirty thousand people might sound like another state, it's okay because with the help of different activities that you can get involved in easily a cz well as very kind, personable Professor's new friends that you're going to meet in your dorms if you choose to live in a dorm, your classes. Because your classes when you have lectures and recitations, there's a lot of student student communication for group projects and things like that. Having a big campus, I think, is a really big advantage because since we have so many people. There are so many diverse activities and clubs and organizations here. A cz well is having a very diverse student body population. Even I now have a friend from the pole that I met at my church. That's right across the street, and we're best buds now, and it's just kind of crazy to see how connected the entire campus, Khun B. Just based on maybe one conversation that you have with another person and along with that, it's really cool. Because if you're ever in an airport somewhere and you have UK sweatshirt on or sticker on your laptop or something like that, so many people, if you start like looking out for it, have UK stuff everywhere, looking around and seeing how many people went to UK, our love knives, Hey, um, have someone there feeling that went there. Teo, meet someone that you don't know a complete stranger and have an hour long conversation about your experiences that UK So I think that's a really cool aspect of what we have here so really quickly. I just wanted to kind of discuss possible activities that you could be involved in. So some of the most popular ones on U. K's campus is for Termini and sorority Greek life. Some people can get pretty stressed about it if they're going to get into the house that they wanted everything. Mind if you ever have any questions about Rush, feel free to contact me and it's like a pretty detailed process, So it's long to explain. I just kind of wanted to pressure that as one of the most common activities on organizations that you could be involved in. I'm a part of Chi Omega, and I absolutely love it. I know overall, we have a play of the pea, and that is make a wish. So I think it's really cool to be connected with so many people that share some of your same values and then also being able, Tio not only have fun with your new sisters or brothers, but also just being able to give back even more so Greek life is a possibility. Along with that, another really comment activity here is dance blue. So I don't know if any of you know what a dance marathon is, but basically it is a marathon for raising money for sick children in the hospital. So we have a ton of hospital surrounding us, and during dance blue, we raise money for them and for the Children's Hospital specifically. It is such a cool event, so money different teams will join up Tio, participate in dance, marathon and raise money. Teams are per activity, so I'm a part of Global Brigades, which is a missionary like medical Missions trip club. Caio has our own team, so Dance Blue is raising money for children's hospitals, but also bringing together so many different activities across the student activities board. So it's a really amazing of it, and you guys should definitely check it out.
